The Tottenham loanee missed the 2-1 victory over Kasimpasa over the weekend but rumours that he was dropped were quickly dispelled.
Buruk said that Ndombele was injured and had only started training again the day before. He also said that he trusted Ndombele very much.
The Lions manager also criticized the media for leaking information about the team’s internal affairs and accused there being a mole in the team.
He said that he didn’t know who was leaking the information, but that it was “very ugly”. He also said that the leaks were making it difficult for the team to prepare for matches.
“Ndombele had an injury in the groin area, he started working yesterday. There is very ugly news about this and that about a hamburger, it’s a lie. I trust him very much,” Buruk said.
“We saw that someone leaked our squad information before we released it. We don’t know who it is but there is a mole on the inside selling stories to the press“
Ndombele is on loan from Tottenham at Galatasaray but they do have a buy option.
It appears the the Lions management is happy with the midfielder and that he will be staying in the team for now.
