Szymanski, who typically plays in the attacking midfield position, has contributed significantly to Fenerbahçe’s success this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 9 assists in 25 matches.
The Yellow Canaries are currently first in the Süper Lig, ahead of rivals Galatasaray on goal difference.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp having been an admirer since 2019.
Klopp has reportedly expressed his desire to bring Szymanski to Anfield but Fenerbahçe is determined to keep the player in the January transfer window.
The Turkish club paid €9.7 million for Szymanski from Dynamo Moscow and they would not consider a fee under €20 million for any potential sale.
The 24-year-old has a contract with Fenerbahçe until 2027 but he is known to have aspirations to play in the Champions League.
If Fenerbahçe is unable to qualify for the Champions League in the near future, it may be difficult for them to hold onto the talented midfielder.
Fenerbahce want to keep him on this January but could be open to an end of season sale.
