Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has provided an update on the fitness of Arda Güler.
Ancelotti confirmed that Güler is nearing a return to action, saying that he will start training with high intensity next week and could be ready for the latter stages of 2023 or early 2024.

“Guler is in the final part of his recovery. Next week, he will start with high intensity and will be ready for the last games of the year or the beginning of next year,” Ancelotti said.
Güler is an 18-year-old Turkish midfielder who joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahçe in July 2023 on a six-year contract.
He helped Fenerbahçe win the 2022-23 Turkish Cup and was already a star player for the Turkish national team before his move to the Spanish giants.
The attacking midfielder has yet to make his debut for Real due to persistent injuries dating back to the US pre-season tour.
The rising star is back in training and finally preparing to make his breakthrough in the team.
Real face Union Berlin tomorrow in the Champions League but that game will come too early. He could be in contention for the following game on Sunday against Villarreal or the clash against Alaves on Thursday 21 December.
That is the final game before a brief winter break after which Real will face Mallorca on 3 January.
