Arsenal could potentially exchange Thomas Partey with Galatasaray for Sacha Boey in the January transfer window according to the Star newspaper.

Partey has been linked with a move away from Arsenal due to his injury problems.

Galatasaray is interested in Partey and would like to cancel the loan of Tanguy Ndombele to make room for him.

Arsenal would prefer a permanent deal for Partey and could use Boey as a bargaining chip to get Partey.

Boey has been a rumored target for Arsenal for the last couple of windows and has impressed in Turkiye since joining Galatasaray from Rennes in 2021.

The 23-year-old has publicly stated that Arsenal have expressed an interest in him but stopped short of rumours that an offer had been made.

Boey told Carre, “I had contacts with various clubs. These clubs also contacted Galatasaray. There were opportunities for me to go to the Premier League.

“There were some meetings between Galatasaray administrators and Arsenal officials. There was an interest, but there was no official offer.”

Boey has made it clear that he is open to a move to the Premier League but he is under contract until 2025.

The 23-year-old was a star player for Galatasaray in the side that lifted the league title last season.

Boey has been an important players for the Lions this term and has two goals in 27 appearances across all competitions including an impressive Champions League campaign.
