Montella Reveals What Real Madrid Boss Told Him About Arda Guler’s Versatility

Turkish national team manager Vincenzo Montella revealed that Real Madrid star Arda Güler will have a place in his team.

Güler has yet to play under Montella due to injuries but the Italian coach made it clear that he has plans for the attacking midfielder when he recovers.

Montella said that Güler is a very talented football player and he wants him to be with the national team as soon as possible.

He also said that it is not hard to find a place for Güler on the field when he is healthy and that he can play in different positions.

Montella revealed that Real boss Carlo Ancelotti revealed to him that Güler can play in any position in midfield.

“Arda is a very talented football player, he showed this too. I feel sorry for your situation, but I want it to be with us as soon as possible in the best form and constantly. It’s not hard to find a place for him on the field when he’s healthy,” Montella said speaking at the Brand & Sport Summit in Istanbul.

“Ancelotti told me Güler is very versatile, that he can play out wide, centrally and in attacking and defensive positions in midfield.

“He can be deployed anywhere in midfield when he is healthy.”

Güler was a star player for the Turkish national team before Montella took charge replacing Stefan Kuntz.

The rising star has one goal and four international caps for the Turkish national team.

Montella is undefeated as head coach and guided the national team to a first place finish finishing the Euro 2024 group stage ahead of Croatia.
