Sacha Boey’s Galatasaray chapter nears its end as the coveted right-back steps closer to joining German giants Bayern Munich according to Turkish football journalist Ali Naci Kucuk.
After months of speculation, official negotiations have commenced between the Turkish club and the Bundesliga powerhouse, signaling a lucrative departure for both Boey and Galatasaray.

Bayern, long admirers of the 23-year-old Frenchman, have finally initiated talks, opening the door for a potential €25 million transfer.
Kucuk claims that Bayern are set to beat Arsenal in the race sign Boey after striking a deal for a €25m transfer fee.
“Galatasaray are set to make history after striking a €25m deal for Sacha Boey,” he said.
“We said 2 months ago that no one would be surprised if Boey left in January, but we didn’t predict he would go for his much.
“Arsenal have been scouting Boey for month, expressing a keen interest but were prepared to wait until the end of the season to make a move.
“Bayern Munich was also interested and decided to make a move after being impressed with his Champions League performances.”
This transfer, should it materialize, would be a remarkable return on investment for the Istanbul club. Having acquired Boey for a mere €1.15 million in 2021, they stand to pocket a profit of up to 20 times their initial outlay.
Sky Sports Germany meanwhile report that Bayern are in negotiations with Galatasaray over Boey.
During his two-season stint with Cim Bom, Boey cemented himself as a key figure, playing 83 games and contributing directly to 8 goals (4 goals, 4 assists).
Boey’s departure to Bayern, while a significant loss for Galatasaray, also represents a testament to his talent and development.
Galatasaray would have to sign a replacement if the deal does go ahead in January as reported by Kucuk.
