The club initially paid Dynamo Moscow a €9.75 million transfer fee for Szymanski.

Following interest in their key man, Fenerbahce set a €20m price on his head but with the intense interest has driven his value up to €25 million.

With his contract secured until 2027, the club appears poised to set a new transfer record.

Fenerbahçe, known for its track record of selling talented players like Eljif Elmas, Vedat Muriqi, Kim Min-Jae, and Arda Güler for significant transfer fees, is focused on developing two new stars this season: Ferdi Kadıoğlu and Sebastian Szymanski.

Both players are garnering attention from European giants, with Szymanski consistently making headlines across the continent.

Szymanski enjoyed a remarkable start to the season, contributing 12 goals and 14 assists in 40 official matches. However, he has not registered a goal or assist in his last 7 league appearances.

Fenerbahce are going to need the best from the Poland international for the remainder of the season as they are involved in the title race and European Conference League.

However, it seems he could be leaving at the end of season with interest continuing to heat up.
