Manchester United and Galatasaray are poised for further talks regarding the transfer of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 26-year-old appears on his way out of Old Trafford, with a move to Turkey increasingly likely according to Caught Offside.
Contract Standoff and Fee Dispute
Wan-Bissaka, whose contract expires next summer, has been offered a three-year deal with an option for a fourth by Galatasaray. The sticking point, however, is the transfer fee. Manchester United value him at €13-15 million, while Galatasaray are only willing to offer €7-8 million.

Playing Time Concerns Drive Potential Move
Wan-Bissaka’s lack of regular starts under Manchester United has fueled speculation about his future. Diogo Dalot is currently the preferred option at right-back, and Wan-Bissaka’s limitations in the attacking side of the game make him a less attractive option for United’s tactical approach.
Turkish Adventure Awaits?
A move to Galatasaray could see Wan-Bissaka join a club with established names like Mauro Icardi, Wilfried Zaha, and Hakim Ziyech. A guaranteed starting role and a lucrative salary of €3-4 million per year are further incentives for the defender.
Wan-Bissaka Not the Only Departure Expected
With Manchester United needing a significant squad overhaul after a disappointing season, Wan-Bissaka is unlikely to be the only player departing Old Trafford. Selling him would free up funds for potential signings in other areas.
Galatasaray’s Backup Options
Should negotiations with Wan-Bissaka fall through, Galatasaray reportedly has Tariq Lamptey and Ben Johnson as alternative targets for the right-back position.
