During ITV’s coverage of Turkey’s quarter-final clash with the Netherlands, Arsenal legend Lee Dixon was dazzled by the defender, saying: “He looks an absolute star, doesn’t he tonight? I think that wing-back role really suits him as well.”

With Nuno Tavares and Kieran Tierney potentially leaving, Oleksandr Zinchenko remains their only reliable option.
