Newcastle United are facing a pressing need to bolster their right-wing options, with the club’s current options proving inadequate.
Despite the impressive form of Jacob Murphy during pre-season, his limitations at the top level are evident. The Magpies’ reliance on Miguel Almiron, who has struggled for consistency, highlights the urgency of the situation.

To address this, Newcastle have turned their attention to Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz. The Turkish club have been resolute in their valuation of the player, but the Magpies are expected to make a renewed push to secure his services.
Newcastle sent scouts to monitor Yilmaz in the Lions opening game of the season, sources confirmed to Turkish-Football.
The Lions beat Hatayspor 2-1 at home with Yilmaz starting and playing the full 90 minutes.
With the Premier League season rapidly approaching, the clock is ticking for Newcastle to finalize their transfer business. The club must act swiftly to avoid entering the campaign with a weakened hand in the wide attacking positions.
Galatasaray meanwhile, want to keep Yilmaz and will only let him leave if their an offer matches their €35m valuation.
Losing a key player at this stage of the transfer period could prove costly for the Turkish giants unless it is an offer too good to refuse.
Galatasaray won the league title last season for the second season in a row.
