Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on reuniting with former Tottenham Hotspur full-back Sergio Reguilon at Fenerbahce according to AS.

Per the source, Mourinho has asked the Fenerbahce board to sign Reguilon.

Mourinho wants to strengthen his squad before the end of the transfer window but could end up losing star player Kadioglu. The Fenerbahce manager has made it clear that they must sign a replacement if Kadioglu does leave.

The Turkish giants are in talks to sign the Spanish defender, who has struggled to secure regular playing time at Spurs. Mourinho managed Reguilon during his time at Tottenham and is believed to be a fan of the player’s abilities.

Fenerbahce are facing competition from several other clubs for Reguilon’s signature, including Barcelona and Galatasaray. However, the Turkish club’s strong relationship with Mourinho could give them an advantage in the negotiations.

If the deal goes through, Reguilon would join a Fenerbahce side that is looking to challenge for major honors in both the Turkish Super Lig and European competitions.
