Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has expressed his desire to bring Wilfried Zaha back to the club.
The Ivorian winger left Palace on a free transfer last summer to join Galatasaray, but Parish has revealed that the club would welcome a reunion. Despite facing challenges in securing Zaha’s return, Parish remains hopeful that a deal could be possible in the future.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Parish said “I would have Zaha back in a heartbeat, yeah. “He’s part of our club, part of our history. As I’ve said countless times, there are only a few people that can lay claim to being at the heart of a resurgence of the club and Wilfried is certainly one of them.
Zaha’s departure from Palace has left a void in the squad, and the club has struggled to replace his attacking prowess. The winger’s return would be a major boost for the Eagles as they look to build on their strong finish to the previous season.
While Parish acknowledges the difficulties involved in bringing Zaha back, his admiration for the player is clear. The chairman believes that Zaha’s presence could significantly enhance Palace’s fortunes and help the club achieve their goals.
“We have stayed in the division sometimes by the force of his will, so of course we would. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that will be possible this summer for various reasons and we continue to wish him all the best out there,” he added.
“I’m in contact with him every now and again and I’m glad to see he had a good season last season.”
However, with limited funds available, Palace may need to sell other players before they can make a move for Zaha. The club’s focus is currently on retaining key players like Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze, who have attracted interest from other clubs.
If Palace can successfully navigate the transfer market and free up funds, they may still have a chance to bring Zaha back to Selhurst Park.
Galatasaray are keen to part ways with Zaha and have left him out of the match day squad for the last two games.
