Manchester United are engaged in a battle with Brighton & Hove Albion to secure the signing of Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
Takvim report that United have been monitoring the 24-year-old’s performances and are keen to bolster their defensive options following Luke Shaw’s injury.
However, Brighton have made significant progress in the negotiations and are currently leading the race for Kadioglu.

The Seagulls have submitted a more attractive offer than United, prompting the Red Devils to step up their efforts. Kadioglu has already agreed personal terms with Brighton, and the club is confident of completing the deal.
With the transfer window drawing to a close, United must act swiftly to match Brighton’s €35m offer and secure Kadioglu’s signature. The Turkish defender’s versatility and impressive performances at Euro 2024 make him a valuable addition to any team.
The Red Devils will need to weigh the cost of signing Kadioglu against their other transfer priorities and the urgency of addressing their defensive concerns.
It appears Kadioglu could be leaving this summer and while Brighton are closest to his signature with United still in talks his future remains uncertain.
The Turkish international already had one goal in five appearances in all competitions this season for the Yellow Canaries.
