Real Madrid midfielder Arda Güler sustained a knock during Turkey’s UEFA Nations League match against Wales.
The 19-year-old was forced to leave the game in the closing minutes, raising concerns about his fitness.
Turkey’s head coach, Vincenzo Montella, confirmed that Güler had picked up a knock but did not provide further details about the severity of the injury.
However, the did say that it was just a ‘knock’.
“Arda Güler was substituted off due to a knock,” Montella said.
The manager did not give any further updates regarding the injury but it does not appear he will be out for a lengthy period of time.
