Galatasaray has made a late attempt to sign West Ham United left-back Emerson before the Turkish transfer window closes.

The Turkish champions are seeking to bolster their defensive options and have identified Emerson as a potential target according to Sabah.

However, securing a deal for the Brazilian full-back will be challenging.

Emerson has been a regular starter for West Ham this season, making three appearances in the Premier League. His versatility and experience make him a valuable asset to the club.

West Ham may be reluctant to sell Emerson, especially with the English transfer window now closed. The club’s only other natural left-back option is Aaron Cresswell.

Galatasaray will need to act quickly and offer a compelling deal to convince West Ham to part ways with Emerson.

The Turkish transfer window runs later than most major European leagues so Galatasaray still have time to make the move.

The Lions have until 13 September to complete the move as that is when the transfer window ends.

The Turkish club faces a tough challenge but may be able to secure the transfer if they can meet West Ham’s demands.
