Aston Villa are on the verge of completing the signing of highly-rated Kasimpasa defender Yasin Ozcan, beating out competition from other top clubs including Liverpool.
The 18-year-old centre-back, who can also play at left-back, has been a standout performer for Kasimpasa in recent seasons.

A fee of €7 million (£5.9m) plus €1 million (£841k) in add-ons has been agreed with the Turkish club, and Ozcan is expected to undergo a medical today according to The Athletic.
While Villa were keen to secure the young defender, they have agreed to allow him to remain with Kasimpasa for the remainder of the season to continue his development.
This strategic move will allow Ozcan to gain further experience in the Turkish Super Lig before joining the Premier League club in the summer.

Despite his young age, Ozcan has already attracted significant interest from top clubs across Europe, including Liverpool and other Turkish giants.
The talented defender has also earned his first call-up to the Turkish national team, highlighting his immense potential.
This signing represents a significant coup for Aston Villa, who are building a promising young squad under the guidance of manager Unai Emery.
