Galatasaray 4 – 2 Karabukspor – The Lions return to the top
[divider]Galatasaray have returned to the top of the Turkish Super Lig with a 4-2 victory over Karabukspor.
The Lions were fast out of the blocks and 1-0 up at half time following a strike by the in-form Yasin Öztekin.
Wesley Senijder doubled the lead with a powerful free-kick early on in the second half while Umut Bulut seemed to have put the game to reset with his sides third.
However, Karabukspor hit back 10 minutes later when a driven cross was turned into his own net by Hakan Balta. Furkan Ozcal – who is on at Karabuksor from Galatasaray – scored his sides second goal.
After a nervy five minutes, Wesley Sneijder struck again for the home side to secure all three points.
