Fenerbahce Reportedly Cooling Interest in Tottenham Midfielder Yves Bissouma

Fenerbahce is reportedly reconsidering its pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma after the player’s recent medical tests did not produce the desired results.

According to a report by Turkish outlet Takvim, Bissouma, 29, was a top target for the Turkish giants, who are looking to strengthen their midfield before the summer transfer window closes.

The club had reportedly even reached a personal terms agreement with the Malian international.

Bissouma joined Tottenham from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2022 but has seen his role diminish since.

He has struggled with inconsistency and has reportedly been at odds with manager Thomas Frank due to disciplinary issues early in the 2025/26 season.

While Bissouma has made 100 appearances for Tottenham, his future at the London club appears uncertain.

This has made him a target for several teams, with Fenerbahce initially leading the race. However, the latest developments regarding his fitness have put the deal in jeopardy.

With time running out in the transfer window, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham will find a new home for Bissouma or if he will remain at the club despite his uncertain future.
