Emre Can set to achieve childhood Wembley dream following Liverpool win

Liverpool star Emre Can is set to achieve his childhood dream of playing in Wembley following the Reds win over Blackburn Rovers.

The Reds secured a place in the FA Cup semi-final following the 1-0 win against Rovers on Wednesday 8 April.

“It’s a very well respected stadium back in Germany,” Can told the official Liverpool website.

“The final of the Champions League was there in 2013 and I was there, but didn’t play.

“I’ve followed the FA Cup since I was a kid. It’s a great cup competition and there’s a great chance to get to the final.”
