Victor Osimhen Returns to Full Team Training Ahead of Galatasaray’s Kasımpaşa Test

Galatasaray have been handed a major boost ahead of Friday evening’s Trendyol Süper Lig Matchweek 7 encounter against Kasımpaşa, with marquee striker Victor Osimhen completing his rehabilitation and returning to full team training.

The 27-year-old Nigerian international rejoined Okan Buruk’s squad for Tuesday evening’s session at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Tesisleri, positioning himself for immediate inclusion in the starting XI at Rams Park.

Prolific Form Returns to Frontline

Osimhen had been sidelined since sustaining an injury during Galatasaray’s Matchweek 4 victory over İstanbul Başakşehir. Prior to his temporary absence, the striker was operating at peak productivity, logging six goals and two assists across just four appearances in yellow and red.

His re-integration provides Buruk with his primary focal point ahead of an intense fixture schedule that includes upcoming UEFA Champions League duties against Barcelona.

Wilfried Singo Begins Individual Work

Alongside Osimhen’s return, Ivorian right-back Wilfried Singo provided further encouragement by initiating individual pitch training during Tuesday’s session.

Singo, who has been restricted to just two appearances and 41 total minutes this season due to lingering physical setbacks, will continue his personalized workload under medical supervision before joining full tactical drills. Galatasaray will complete their Matchweek 7 preparations with a final tactical session on Wednesday afternoon.
