Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic stated that his side are back in the title race following the 5-1 win over Kasımpaşa.
The Black Eagles ended a two game winless run against Kasımpaşa and moved into first place in the league.
“After dropping points to Fenerbahçe and Başakşehir, we’ve managed to get back on track and are back in the title race again,” Bilic told the official Beşiktaş website.

The Croatian manager also underlined that his side gained confidence from the victory and that it will only serve to help their title ambitions.
“Bilic said To regain our self-confidence, we had to win this game at all costs. Now, we should do the same in our remaining matches,” he added.
The Black Eagles are currently first in the league on goal difference. Galatasaray are also on 58 points while Fenerbahçe are two points behind.
The Yellow Canaries could however, overtake Beşiktaş with a win against Bursaspor at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium as they have a game in hand.
Beşiktaş will take on relegation strugglers Karabükspor next week.
