Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba became the highest scoring African player this season when he hit the back of the net against Kasımpaşa on the weekend.
The Black Eagles beat Kasımpaşa, temporarily moving into first place and taking Ba’s goal tally to 25.

Ba has the highest number of league goals out of African players in Europe. The Sengalese international has hit the back of the net 16 times.

Ba joined the Black Eagles on a €6 million move from Chelsea this summer and wears the number nine shirt for Beşiktaş.
