Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba has congratulated his former teammate Chelsea winger Eden Hazard after he was named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) player of the year for 2014-1.
Ba shared a picture of Hazard from the PFA awards on his Instagram alongside the caption: “Congrats to my bro @hazardeden_10 for winning the best player of the year, love you man.”

The 29-year-old striker often praises Hazard and refers to the Belgium international as his brother.
“Hazard is a nice kid, you know, I like him. I’m five years older than him so for me he’s like my little brother, and I just want to take care of him,” Ba said in an interview with the Telegraph.
Ba recently invited Hazard as well as former Chelsea teammate John Terry to a charity dinner on 25 May 2015.
The charitable event will raise funds for the orphans of Senegal.
The fundraiser will take place in central London, tickets will be priced at £65 and tables can be brought for £500.
The Senegalese internationals joined the Black Eagles on a €6 million move from Chelsea this summer and wears the number nine shirt for the Black Eagles.
The powerful striker already has 27 goals and seven assists for Beşiktaş this season.
