Trabzonspor have stepped up efforts to sign Saint Etienne striker Mevlüt Erdinç according to Eurosport TR.
The report claims that Trabzonspor boss Ersun Yanal has close ties with Erdinç and that he held talks with the Turkish international last season while in charge of Fenerbahçe.
The Black Sea Storm are expected to enter talks with the 28-year-old striker next week.

Erdinç has eight goals and one assist in 32 international caps for Turkey.
The powerful striker represented France at youth level but later switched allegiances to the Crescent-Stars.
Erdinç has scored eight goals and one assist in 34 appearances for Saint-Etienne this season in all competitions.
The experienced forward joined St. Etienne on a £4 million move from Rennes in the summer of 2013.
Erdinç has previously played for PSG, Rennes and Sochaux. The Turkish international has never played for a team outside of France at club level.
