Beşiktaş have released a statement denying that Qatari side Al-Sadd have made an offer for Demba Ba.
The statement read: “Reports published in the AMK newspaper today regarding Al-Sadd making an offer for Beşiktaş are a complete fabrication.”
Ba has been linked with a number of Gulf Arab clubs over the past few months.
The 29-year-old striker joined the Black Eagles on a €6 million move from Chelsea this summer and already has 25 goals and seven assists for Beşiktaş.
The powerful striker has 16 goals in the Süper Lig, only Bursaspor forward Fernandao has more.
The Senegalese international is currently promoting a charitable event in London that will raise funds for the orphans of Senegal.
