Kavlak has missed the Black Eagles last three games due to his shoulder injury.
The Austrian international is unlikely to start for Beşiktaş against Gaziantepspor next weekend in the Süper Lig.
January signing Tolgay Arslan has been filling in for Kavlak in a holding midfield position.
The hardworking midfielder may struggle to get his place back in the starting lineup as Arslan has been in impressive form over the past three weeks.
Kavlak was born in Austria but is also a Turkish citizen through his parents.
The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has eight goals and 14 assists in 144 appearances for the Black Eagles.
The Black Eagles returned to the top of the table following the 2-0 win over Trabzonspor at the Avni Aker stadium.
