Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger singled out Mesut Özil for praise following the 3-1 win over Hull City.
Wenger admitted he was pleased with the World Cup winners performance against Hull and how he has developed this season.
“Mesut Özil is developing fantastically well and had a fantastic game. Overall his influence was very strong,” Wenger told Arsenal Player.

Özil was came under fire from sections of the media and fans at the start of the season but has received several awards since the turn of the year.
The 26-year-old has won two Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month awards and was also chosen as the PFA Fans Player of the Month for April.
The Arsenal star was given a 7.41 score from Whoscored for his performance against Hull and has not received a rating lower than 7.00 in his last eight league games.
Özil has nine assists and five goals in 27 appearances for Arsenal this season.
