Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba praised Chelsea stars John Terry, Eden Hazard, Branislav Ivanovich as well as the other players that attended his charity event dedicated to raising funds for the orphans of Senegal.
The charity fundraiser was held at the Marriott hotel in central London on May 25 in partnership with Human Appeal for the Empire of the Children campaign.
Ba shared an Instagram image alongside the caption: “Thanks to Human Appeal, to the generous donators, and my special guests and friends @hazardeden_10 @johnterry.26 @setoo9 , diomansy kamara , branislav ivanovic and abou diaby for the raise of 300.000 pounds for the Empire of childrens in dakar, senegal. What an event and an evening. Because of you , all this children will live a better life Insha’Allah

The Empire of the Children is a former open air cinema in Senegal that has been renovated and now looks after young boys aged 5 to 16 years of age.
Football stars including Samuel Eto’o Fils, Abou Diaby, Diomansy Kamara, Colin Nell, Emdaad Rahman in addition to others were also present at the gala dinner.
Ba joined the Black Eagles on a €6 million move from Chelsea this summer and already has a total of 27 goals and seven assists for Beşiktaş.
