Öztekin is reported to have entered into debt and has only recently finished paying off loan. İnce also claimed that his client did not have enough money to buy a car so had to take other means of public transport and taxi services to team training.
The former Borussia Dortmund youth excelled under Hamza Hamzaoğlu and scored two vital goals in the Lions last three games.
Öztekin has a total of five goals and 14 assists in the Süper Lig this season despite missing most of the first part of the season under Cesare Prandelli.
Galatasaray won the league title for the 20th time following the 2-0 win over Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe subsequently drawing 2-2 with Başakşehir.
