The 21-year-old played an exquisite pass through to Kevin Volland which split Denmark’s defence in half. Volland went on to out his side ahead with a placed shot into the back of the net.
Can was the man of the match in Germany U21’s draw with Serbia. The 21-year-old joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen as a central midfielder but soon found himself as a makeshift defender.
The Germany U21 international adapted well to playing as a centre-back in Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers back three but had a few problems at right-back.
The Liverpool star made a total of 27 appearances for the Premier League outfit this season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.
