Januzaj would be able to play under domestic status in Turkey due to having part-Turkish heritage.
The Belgium international of Kosovan origin struggled for playing time under United boss Louis van Gaal last season. However, Januzaj’s agent Dirk de Vriese does not believe his client will not be leaving Old Trafford over the summer.
“This is total nonsense. Adnan is feeling good at Manchester United and they don’t want him to leave the club,” Vriese was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
“He is still considered as their biggest talent since many years.
“There was a lot of top teams asking to buy him and a lot of sub-top teams to loan him, but he will stay at Manchester United to become a legend in the club.”
Fenerbahçe had one of the oldest squads in the Süper Lig last season with an average age of 30.
The Yellow Canaries recently parted ways with five long serving members of the club – Egemen Korkmaz, Pierre Webo, Mert Günok, Bekir İrtegün, Selçuk Şahin.
The Istanbul giants also signed 26-year-old Lille centre-back Simon Kjaer on a four-year deal.
Fenerbahçe have also been in talks with 28-year-old United winger Nani who is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Thursday according to the Hurriyet.
