Ilkay Gündoğan is set to extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund following discussions with their newly appointed manager Thomas Tuchel.
T-Online has claimed that the 24-year-old is now close to agreeing a extension on his contract which expires next summer.

The report goes onto state that Gündoğan will remain at Dortmund until summer 2017 under his new deal.
Gündoğan was closely linked with Barcelona and Bayern Munich but both clubs are reported to have cooled interest in the Germany international.
Manchester United are currently the bookmakers favourite for Gündoğan if he does decide to leave the German giants.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke recently sttated that there was a chance that Gündoğan would extend his contract with the club.
“Maybe there is still a chance that he has a rethink,” Dortmund’s general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke told WAZ.
Gündoğan rejected previous contract extension talks are reportedly turned down a deal worth €6 million per-season.
The Germany international wrapped up the season with five assists and three goals in 33 appearances in all competitions.
