Chelsea target Arda Turan has been looking for London house

Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan has put in his transfer request and is expected to move to England within the next four days according to his agent Ahmet Bulut.

“There are lots of rumours in the press but I cannot say anything now although I would like to,” Bulut told NTV Spor.

“Without the signature and agreement I cannot break my silence but Arda will know his new team within the next four days.”

Turan has been closely linked with PSG and Manchester United but Chelsea have become the bookmaker Betvictor‘s favourite to sign the bearded winger.

The Turkish international winger has been interested in moving to London for quite a while and revealed looking for a house in the city in an interview with Hürriyet back in March

“I am thinking about buying a house in London nothing too fancy something like a 180 square meter flat I just would like a place in London,” Turan said.

“If I have kids they could study from there it just seems a good idea to have one foot in London.”

Whether Turan was simply interested in jumping on the property ladder or plotting a future move remains unknown but the 28-year-old has signed a ‘pre-contract agreement’ with Chelsea according to Radio Marca. In a further development Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil is in talks with Chelsea over Turan according to DHA.

Turan would become the fourth Atleti player at Chelsea should he complete his move to the Premier League champions. Former teammates Filipe Luis, Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa joined the Blues last summer.
