Beşiktaş board member Yalçın Kaya Yılmaz has confirmed that the club are preparing a move for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.
“If the conditions are right and if he also wants to come we are willing to make an offer even if it would push us to the limit financially,” Yılmaz told HaberTürk.

Yılmaz also revealed that season ticket and merchandise sales alone would be able to recuperate the investment in the Netherlands international.
“He would really get the crowd going at the Arena and sales from season tickets and merchandise alone would be able to make back our investment,” he added.
The Black Eagles are in the process of completing a new 41,903 seater sporting arena on the grounds of the Inönü stadium in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul.
The new stadium is expected to be completed towards the end of the year despite initial plans being for a summer opening.
Beşiktaş are keen on inaugurating the new stadium with a game against a high profile side as well as a marquee signing.
Van Persie has also been closely linked with Fenerbahçe and fellow Istanbul giants Galatasaray over the past few weeks.
