Trabzonspor are hoping to complete the transfer of Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote by Friday according to Fanatik.
The Turkish sports newspaper claim that the Black Sea Storm are in advanced talks with the Senegalese international.

Tiote still has two years left on his contract with the Magpies but the North East England based Chronicle Live newspaper report that Tiote’s future at the club remains in doubt.
Trabzonspor have already completed the transfer of Sevilla midfielder Stephen M’bia on a three-year deal and hope to complete most of their transfers by Friday before the star of the pre-season.
Tiote made just 12 appearances for the Premier League outfit last season due to injuries and has made a total of one goals and nine assists in 131 appearances for the Magpies.
The combative midfielder also has 55 international caps for the Ivory Coast.
The 29-year-old midfielder has experience playing in the Netherlands and Belgium having previously played for FC Twente, Anderlecht as well as Roda.
Trabzonspor finished last season in fifth place but are expected to invest heavily and mount a title challenge next season.
