Ilkay Gündoğan has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal with Borussia Dortmund keeping him at the Bundesliga club until July 2017.
Dortmund confirmed the news on their official website and twitter page.

Gündoğan was closely linked with Barcelona and Bayern Munich but both clubs are reported to have cooled interest in the Germany international.
The 24-year-old was also unable to agree terms with the Premier League duo Manchester United and Arsenal.
Gündoğan rejected previous contract extension talks are reportedly turned down a deal worth €6 million per-season.
The Germany international changed his mind regarding his future following discussions with their newly appointed manager Thomas Tuchel. Financial details of the transfer are yet to be disclosed.
Gündoğan wrapped up the season with five assists and three goals in 33 appearances in all competitions.
