The report goes onto state that Turan will sign a five-year deal with the Catalan giants.
Mundo Deportivo’s news comes amid a statement from Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut saying that he and his client had not been in talks with Barcelona.
“I have not spoke with anyone from Barcelona these newspaper stories are just rumours,” Bulut told NTV Spor.
“I am not going to say where Arda is going right now it is not the right time I would love to say but in three to four days the club will let you know anyway.”
Turan – who has two years remaining on his contract with Atleti – provided six assists and scored three goals in 46 appearances for Atletico Madrid in all competitions this season.
