Beşiktaş are set to offer Manchester United striker Robin van Persie a deal worth €5 million per-season according to Fanatik.
The Black Eagles are looking to reinvest some of the €14 million transfer fee from Demba Ba’s sale to Chinese giants Shanghai Shenhua in a replacement striker.
Club board member Yalçın Kaya Yılmaz confirmed that the club are preparing a move for Robin van Persie yesterday.
“If the conditions are right and if he also wants to come we are willing to make an offer even if it would push us to the limit financially,” Yılmaz told HaberTürk.

Yılmaz also revealed that season ticket and merchandise sales alone would be able to recuperate the investment in the Netherlands international.
“He would really get the crowd going at the Arena and sales from season tickets and merchandise alone would be able to make back our investment,” he added.
The future of Van Persie at United remains in doubt after the experienced striker struggled to hold down a regular spot in the starting lineup.
Van Persie was also recently advised to consider doing what Sneijder had done in moving to Turkey by former Netherlands international star Ronald De Boer.
De Boer wrote in a column for Voetbal International: “Van Persie can learn from Sneijder’s example. Wesley flicked the switch a year before the World Cup in Brazil. For Wesley, the realisation came just in time — he has extended his career with them.
“I am convinced that Van Persie can do that too. Robin can still be of great value to the Oranje.”
Galatasaray board member Cüneyt Tanman also confirmed interest in Van Persie but denied an offer being submitted.
“We have made enquiries and established contact but an offer has not been made for the names mentioned [Van Persie and Huntelaar],” Tanman was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
