Fenerbahçe striker Fernandao stated that the transfer of Manchester United star Robin van Persie would increase competition within the team.
The Brazilian striker admitted that he would look forward to working alongside Van Persie should he join the club.
“It increases competition it is great to have players like Van Persie it pushes everyone to perform at a higher level,” Fernandao told Fanatik.

Turkish-football.com’s Emre Sarıgül and the Guardian’s Jamie Jackson reported on Saturday that Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement-in-principle for United star.
Fernando joined the Yellow Canaries on a four-year deal from Atletico PR last month.
The 28-year-old striker is no stranger to Turkish football having played on loan for Bursaspor last season and establishing himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in the league.
The powerful striker was last seasons goal king scoring 22 goals in the Super Lig and 24 goals in all competitions for the Turkish Cup finalists.
The Yellow Canaries have already made seven transfers this summer including Manchester United winger Nani, Lille defender Simon Kjaer and Sao Paulo defensive midfielder Jozef De Souza.
