Fenerbahçe have released a statement on the stock exchange officially confirming negotiations with Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie.
Publicly listed Super Lig clubs generally release information of player talks as a formality before announcing the completion of the deal.
The Yellow Canaries followed the same policy when announcing the Nani deal from United last week.
