Fenerbahçe winger Miroslav Stoch has likened recently appointed manager Vitor Pereira to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Stoch worked under the stewardship of Mourinho during his time at Chelsea and has started training under Pereira as part of the pre-season program.
“Vitor Pereira is a great guy he sometimes makes surprise suggestions but always pushes his players,” Stock told the Milliyet.
“He demands a high work rate and focuses on our technique and balance. I see a lot of Mourinho in him. I worked with Mourinho before and they are both very modern coaches.”
Pereira won the Greek league with Olympiakos last season and replaced Ismail Kartal as manager of Fenerbahçe last month.
Frank Arnesen brought Stoch in to the Chelsea U18 side in 2016 and he soon rose through the ranks before his Premiership debut in 2008 against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Stock joined Dutch side Twente on loan in 2009 to gain experience and further his career and became a regular scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.
The Slovakian winger went onto lift the Eredivisie, Twente’s first league title in club history.
Stoch expected to re-join Chelsea after his loan period but ended up selling to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe for €5.5 million in 2010.
The 25-year-old played for Al-Ain on loan last season and has since returned to the Yellow Canaries.
