Besiktas have joined the race to sign Kayseri Erciyesspor striker Oğulcan Çağlayan according to Ajanspor.
The Istanbul giants are close to agreeing terms with the highly rated 19-year-old who is also the captain of the U19 Turkish national team.
Aston Villa have been closely linked with a move for the young striker by Eurosport. Olympiacos and Fenerbahce are also understood to be monitoring the situation.
Erciyesspor President Ziya Eren has confirmed that Oğulcan Çağlayan is in talks with a club in Europe.
“We are currently in talks with a European club over Çağlayan,” Eren was quoted as saying by Futbol Arena.
Çağlayan is a highly rated 19-year-old striker who provided two assists and scored six goals for Erciyesspor last season. The young striker has been capped for the U-16,U-17,U-18 and U-19 Turkish national teams.
Çağlayan joined Erciyesspor from Gaziantepspor in February 2015 for €365,000. The Turkey U-19 international now has a market value of €2 million.
Erciyesspor were relegated from the Turkish Super Lig last season after picking up just 27 points in 34 games.
Aston Villa ended the Premier League season in 17th place with 38 points in 38 games.
