Tottenham have made an enquiry for Fenerbahçe midfielder Raul Meireles according to Sky Sports Italia journalist Di Marzio.
The report claims that Spurs have met with the agent of the Portuguese international and that Meireles is on his way out of Istanbul.
Meireles started in the Yellow Canaries Champions League play-off draw exit yesterday against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Istanbul giants crashed out 3-0 on aggregate following a 3-0 defeat at the Lviv stadium and will now enter the Europa League play-off round to try and secure a place in the group stages.
Spurs could face competition from Everton who the Metro report have also been keeping tabs on the 32-year-old midfielder.
The Portuguese international is no stranger to Premier League football having enjoyed successful spells at both Liverpool and Chelsea.
The 32-year-old midfielder won PFA Fans’ Player of the Year in 2011 during his time playing at the Reds and went on to help the Blues win the Champions League and win the FA Cup.
