West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has won his first major derby in two-seasons following the 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates stadium.
Bilic came close to beating the Gunners last summer while in charge of Besiktas. The former Croatian national team manager held Arsenal to a goalless draw in the Champions League play-off first-leg tie last season and only narrowly lost 1-0 at the Emirates.
The 46-year-old coach was praised for the Black Eagles performances against Premier League opposition last season. The Istanbul giants beat Tottenham in Istanbul and knocked Liverpool out of the Europa League Round of 32.
Bilic was however, criticised for being unable to win a major derby for Besiktas in his two-seasons in charge of the Eagles.
The former West Ham defender has however, ended his derby drought on his Premier League managerial debut.
The Hammers pulled off the surprise of the week after beating the north London based outfit 2-0 today.
