Europa League: Lokeren – Trabzonspor Preview[divider]
Trabzonspor will be hoping for a repeat of what happened the last time they faced Lokeren on Match Day 4 in the Europa League Group L.
The Black Sea Storm beat Lokeren 2-0 at the Hüseyin Avni Aker stadium to move into second place on six points, three behind leaders Legia.
Lokeren would join Trabzonspor on six points with a home win but Trabzonspor are yet to lose any of their last four Europa League games. In fact the Süper Lig outfit have won their last two away games in a row.
Vahid Halilhodžić returned to Trabzonspor this summer for the second time after a successful World Cup 2014 campaign guiding Algeria to the Round of 16.
Halilhodzic has come under criticism for the teams performances in the Süper Lig but the Bosnian manager has urged his fans for patience.
Trabzonspor shipped out 28 players and made 22 transfers including the likes of Oscar Cardozo, Majeed Waris and Mehmet Ekici this summer.
The new players have not gelled yet but there have been promising signs.
Halilhodzic is expected to use a 4-2-3-1 setup against Lokeren with the main attacking threat coming from Ekici, Cardozo and either Yatabare or Waris.
Lokeren did not put up much of a fight in the last game and Trabzonspor looked by far the superior side.
