Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is keen on a move to Turkey according to the football agent Ahmet Bulut.
Bulut who also represents Arda Turan is involved in negotiations between Besiktas and Liverpool.
“The player is keen on a move to Turkey, in my opinion the move is close to completion,” Bulut told Radyospor.
Besiktas have made a loan offer for Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva according to NTV Spor. The Black Eagles are in need of a central midfielder following long-term injuries to Veli Kavlak and Tolgay Arslan.
Juventus and Inter Milan are both interested in signing the out-of-favour defensive midfielder according to Eurosport.
The Brazilian international made 32 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions last season.
Besiktas won their opening game of the season 5-2 against Mersin and are currently coached by former Turkish national team manager Senol Gunes who guided the Crescent-Stars to third in the World Cup.
