With another weekend of football ahead we take a look at how out Turkish players abroad will fare in Europe this weekend. The highlight of the week will be the duel between Emre Can and Mesut Ozil when Liverpool take on Arsenal on Monday night.

Mesut Ozil

Mesut Özil is expected to start for Arsenal in their clash against Liverpool on Monday Night. The 26-year-old took a brief trip to Turkey during the week and is coming off the back of a sublime performance against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Arda Turan

Arda Turan extended break will continue this weekend due to Barcelona’s transfer ban.

Gokhan Inler

Gokhan Inler has been cleared to make his Premier League debut for his new club Leicester City against Tottenham. However, The Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri is expected to start the Switzerland international on the bench.

Emre Can

Emre Can could be in-line for a spot in Liverpool’s starting line-up as club captain Jordan Henderson failed a late fitness test. The 21-year-old has made two substitute appearances for the Red’s this season.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu is expected to start in Leverkusen’s trip to Hannover on Saturday.

Bilal Basaçikoglu is expected to keep his place in Feyenoord’s starting line-up following his assist in his sides opening goal last weekend against Cambuur. Feyenoord sit in second place with two wins from two games.
