Newcastle United are preparing a bid for Wolves striker Benik Afobe according to the newcastle based newspaper The Mag.
The news comes amid reports linking Pappis Cisse with a move to Galatasaray. Cisse was dropped to the bench for Newcastle’s encounter with Manchester United on the weekend.
Galatasaray are set to make a €5 million bid for Newcastle United according to Fanatik. The Turkish sports paper claims that Galatasaray made an enquiry for the experienced striker and that Newcastle are prepared to listed to offers.
The Istanbul Giants won the league title for a record 20th time last season and earned the right to wear a fourth star on their crest. Galatasaray will play Champions League group stage football for the fourth consecutive season.
Cisse who has two years remaining on this contract joined Newcastle from SC Freiburg for €14.5 million back in January 2012.
