Fenerbahçe striker Moussa Sow has admitted that he loves Turkish food but it is resulting in an expanding waistline.

“I can’t go without Turkish food,” Sow said.

“As a result I have to train a lot harder to burn off the fat, I love my Karnıyarık and can’t stop eating Turkish food.

“I am on a fitness program now and I am eating healthy but this food is delicious.

“At this rate I am going to become fat if I live in Turkey after I retire.”

Sow also believes he is going to score more goals in the next few weeks.

“The goal against Beşiktaş in the derby was important,” Sow said.

“But the goals need to be scored consistently and I promise more will follow in the next few weeks.”

The former Ligue 1 champion and top scorer joined Fenerbahçe from Lille for €10 million in January 2012.

The Senegalese international played an important role in Fenerbahce winning the Super Lig title last season.

The 28-year-old has scored 46 times and provided 22 assists in all competitions since joining the Yellow Canaries.
