Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz has arrived in Istanbul ahead of completing his transfer to Galatasaray.
Grosskreutz will undergo his Galatasaray medical before putting pen-to-paper on his new deal a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.
The 27-year-old winger has spent the past six years in Dortmund, making a total of 176 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.
Grosskreutz will become the second Germany international to sign for Galatasaray following the arrival of Lukas Podolski from Arsenal last month.
The Gunner were also linked with a £3.7 million move for the Dortmund winger earlier in the year according to the Daily Star.
Galatasaray won the league title for a record 20th time last season earning the right to wear a fourth star on their crest.
The Lions booked a place in the Champions League group stages for the fourth consecutive season. Galatasaray will face Benfica, Atletico Madrid and Kazakhstan side Astana.
Galatasaray are currently third in the Turkish Super League with six points after two games.
